Myria Services, Inc. ("Myria", "we" or "us") is committed to respecting the privacy of your information. This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") describes the personal information we collect through our website and mobile platform (collectively, the "Platform"), and how we collect and use this information. Terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Service.
1. Collection and Use of Personal Information
- Personal Information. When you register for the Platform and/or apply for Myria Membership, you will be asked to provide us with certain information about yourself (your "Personal Information"). Personal Information includes any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact or locate you. This includes, but is not limited to; your name, phone number, email address, address, credit card, banking information, and date of birth.
- Member Profile. During the Member onboarding process, a Member Profile will be created on your behalf. Your Member Profile contains Personal Information including, but not limited to; your name, location, net worth, ratings, interests, purchase history, and other information. Member Profiles are restricted pages. Restricted pages are only visible to Users that have been approved by us, either as a Member or as a Provider, and have executed our Nondisclosure Agreement. Member Profiles are not visible to the public.
- Provider Profile: During the Provider onboarding process, a Provider Profile will be created on your behalf. Your Provider Profile will include some Personal Information including, but not limited to, your name, location, company name, service history, revenue, ratings, reviews, and other information. Provider Profiles are restricted pages. Restricted pages are only visible to Users that have been approved by us, either as a Member or as a Provider, and have executed our Nondisclosure Agreement. Provider Profiles are not visible to the public.
- Contact Information. Contact information includes, but is not limited to; residential or business address, telephone number, and email address. Contact information is not displayed on Member Profiles or Provider Profiles. Contact information will only be shared with Users to the extent necessary to provide Services.
- Messaging. The Platform allows you to exchange messages with Myria. We store these messages to provide excellent customer service and support.
- Member Payment Information. We require Members to provide credit card information and billing information as part of the Member onboarding process. Member Payment information is not stored on the Platform. We use third-party payment processors to process payments. Your credit card information and billing information will only be used for that purpose.
- Provider Financial Information. We require Providers to provide banking information as part of the Provider onboarding process. Provider Financial information is not stored on the Platform. We use third-party payment processors to process payments. Your credit card information and billing information will only be used for that purpose.
- Feedback. If you leave feedback for a Member or Provider, contact us to give us feedback, register a complaint, or ask questions about the Platform or Services, we may store your communications, including any Personal Information you include in them, so we can effectively respond to you.
2. Collection and Use of Non-Personal Information
- Non-personal information. Non-personal information is information that does not identify a specific User. This type of information may include things like the URL of the website you visited before and after visiting our Platform, the type of browser you are using, and the IP address of the computer you use to visit the Platform.
- Cookies. We collect anonymous information about how you use the Platform by setting and accessing cookies on your computer. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer. These cookies track information such as how often you visit the Platform, what pages you view, and where you go after you leave the Platform. The cookies track your computer, not you. They are not connected to any Personal Information about you. If you choose to disable a cookie, you may not be able to use certain features of the Platform.
- Activity and Log Data. We store information related to your use of the Platform in our log files, such as the pages you view on the Platform, your browser type, IP address, operating system, referring URL, and the date and time of your visit. We use this type of information to administer the Platform and to analyze trends.
- Web Beacons and Other Tracking Devices. We may use other industry standard technologies like web beacons or tracking pixels to count the number of users that visit a page on the Platform that includes these web beacons. Web beacons are used to report on Platform traffic. The web beacons do not identify individual users and analysis of data obtained is performed on an aggregate basis. We may also rely upon third parties to assist with the use and implementation of web beacons.
3. Disclosure of Your Information to Third Parties
- Disclosure By Law; Protection of Us and Others. We may disclose information you provide if required to do so by law, at the request of a third party, or if we, in our sole discretion, believe that disclosure is reasonable to (1) comply with the law, requests, or orders from law enforcement, or any legal process (whether or not such disclosure is required by applicable law), (2) protect or defend Myria's, or a third party's rights or property, or (3) protect someone's health or safety, such as when harm or violence against any person (including you) is threatened.
- Aggregate Data. We may share aggregate data about Users with third parties, including investors and marketing partners. This information does not identify individual Users.
- Service Providers. We may share your Personal Information with companies that perform services for us, such as analyzing customer data, providing marketing assistance, and payments. They have access to Personal Information as needed to perform their functions, but may not disclose your Personal Information for other purposes.
- Information Available to Other Users and the Public. As described in Section 1, certain information about a User or relating to a User's site activity may be accessible to Users.
4. Updating and Correcting Information
- You are required to ensure we have accurate information for you at all times. You can update your Personal Information by logging into your account and accessing the "Profile" section.
5. Security of Information
- We take the security of your Personal Information very seriously and take precautions to protect your Personal Information. We implement other commercially reasonable procedures to protect your Personal Information. But, no method of data transmission over the Internet or data storage is 100% secure, and therefore, we cannot guarantee the security of any information transmitted to or from the Platform.
6. Age Restrictions
- The Platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under 18, and no part of the Platform is designed to attract anyone under the age of 18.
7. Additional Information for California Residents
- California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”). Residents of California are entitled to specific protections under the CCPA.
- Categories of Personal Information. This Privacy Policy discloses the categories of Personal Information that we collect, use, and disclose to operate our business.
- We do not sell your Personal Information to third parties. Myria may share your Personal Information with third parties and third parties may collect your Personal Information as described above in the Collection and Use of Personal Information and Disclosure of Your Information to Third Parties sections.
- Requests for Deletion, Copy, and Right to Know Your Information. California consumers have the right to make the following requests, which we endeavor to honor from non-California residents as well:
- Deletion. You have the right to request the deletion of Personal Information that we have collected about you.
- Copy and Right to Know. You have the right to request a copy of the specific pieces of Personal Information that we have collected about you over the past 12 months, including the categories of information, sources, and purposes of collection, as well as categories of third parties we have shared it with.
- Designated Agent. You may designate an agent to request on your behalf. That agent must have access to your account for us to verify the request.
- Request. You may submit a deletion, copy, and right to know request by emailing us at support@myria.us.
- Non-Discrimination. Myria will not discriminate against you, including by denying or providing a different level or quality of goods or services should you choose to exercise your options under the CCPA.
- Your California Privacy Rights under California’s Shine-the-Light Law. California law permits users who are California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, a list of the third parties to whom we have disclosed their Personal Information (if any) for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year, as well as the types of Personal Information, disclosed to those parties. If you are a California resident and would like to request this information, please submit your request in an email to support@myria.us.
- The Platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under 18, and no part of the Platform is designed to attract anyone under the age of 18.
8. Changes to Our Privacy Policy
- We may revise our Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version of the Privacy Policy will govern our use of your information and will always be located on this webpage. If we make a change to our Privacy Policy that is material, we will provide you with notice of such changes, such as sending an email, providing a notice through the Platform, or updating the date at the top of this Privacy Policy. Unless Myria says otherwise in its notice, the amended Privacy Policy will be effective immediately. Your use of the Platform or the Services after such posting will constitute acceptance by you of such changes.
